For Every Reader

Hello, every reader! I would like you to let me introduce myself on this page.

I am Shinichi Ito. I’m a bilingual(English and Japanese) blogger with a writer. I have my nickname, Mapman. Some decades ago, I could not speak English well. I used to go to British Pub in Sapporo. I somehow could drink a few beers, But I always was bringing my world map or road map to express my self-introduction. One customer named this nickname.

I manage this blog, Aspe Times. I’m a bilingual(English and Japanese) blogger with a writer. Let me introduce this blog to every reader.

I established this blog for people with Asperger’s or ADHD in 2006. I started a hotel job in 2009. In the same year, I changed my blog themes from Asperger’s to English because I would like to improve my English skills. As a result, I could reach the highest score on the “English Writing” section of the Japanese Blog Portal Website Nihon Blog Mura in 2015. Also, I got the top scores in two categories, English Writing and TOEFL, IELTS.

I retired from a hotel job in 2018. In the same year, I moved this blog from the Japanese Free Blog Service to WordPress. I love Canada so much 🇨🇦💕, my favourite food is rice with curry🍛.

Aspe, this blog title means three meanings. I named this title originally from Asperger’s. But this title contains the other two means as flows.

A SPEcialist
A SPecific Endeavour.”

Thank you for reading the introduction. I’m looking forward to seeing you.
